Following the withdrawal of the CIEH version of this course in April 2017, this qualification is now accredited by HABC. We are now working with a colleague organisation to offer this course in Birmingham, so please contact us for more details of availability in the West Midlands. However we are currently not offering this qualification at our Cornwall location.

Train the Trainer courses are subject to a minimum number of candidates to run, due to the requirement for peer assessments, so any proposed dates may be subject to change.

This course replaced the PTLLS course and is aimed at those wishing to train in the private or public sectors.

It is run as a 4 day course, plus home study, and consists of 3 units:

Group A:

Understanding the roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training.

Group B:

Understanding and using inclusive teaching and learning approaches in education and training.

Facilitating learning & development for individuals

Facilitating learning & development in groups

Group C:

Understanding assessment in education and training.

Understanding the principles and practices in assessment.



Assessment is via a portfolio of evidence and a practical assessed micro-teach session.
